STRANDED


In this game, the goal is for the player to get to the extraction point to escape the forest and complete the game.  Whilst the player navigates the forest, he must avoid the hostile zombies that come across his path.  As he faces this great challenge, the player is equipped with a sidearm and a torch that may aid him.

This project was done in Unity Game Engine.  I had four goals when completing this project:

  • Learning and creating a game with the Unity Engine
  • Creating enemies with AI elements
  • Creating a detailed level with Terrain Editor
  • Using C# for features for the player character

I was pleased with the result of this project, in particular the game environment and the setting.  I felt I had mastered the basics of game engine programming, design, and level design by the end of this project.
